Integrative Medicine

Integrative medicine honors the complexity of synergistic effects amidst our mind, body, and spirit.

As defined by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine at the National Institute of Health, “Integrative medicine blends mainstream medical therapies with complementary and alternative medical therapies that have a proven record of safety and effectiveness.”

Integrative medicine is based on:

  • Use of effective, natural resources that provide less invasive interventions
  • Knowledge and guidance incorporating both conventional and alternative methods to promote an individual’s health and wellbeing
